Some remarks upon the many notorious ... shams ... of this pretended answerer of Nubes Testium, [by John Gother] [manuscript], ca. 1688.

Remarks are interleaved in and written in the margins of An answer to the compiler of the Nubes Testium ..., [by Edward Gee], 1688 (Wing G453). The page facing the Introduction to An answer ... explains the arrangement. At the end of this work is "A short account of the contents of the appendix to Nubes Testium," probably by the same author. Its last folio is at the end of the volume. Also, near the end of the volume, the draft of a letter from Dr [Edward] Gee, December 11, 1712, discussing the preceding "Remarks ..." which he says are by a Jesuit. In it he refers to his extensive travels on the Continent and various Catholic theologians he had met. End lacking. Bound with the above is A letter from a dissenter to the divines of the Church of England in order to a union [attributed to John Gother], 1687 (Wing G1330).
